Hey, thanks for taking interest in this! This is actually all quite old and outdated. XD;; The comic's on hold right now, but I'm still working on it.

Anyway, yes, Heimdal will be serving the role of the avatar. In the context of the WKC world (or this comic version of it anyway. ), he's actually a human-warg hybrid.

Oh, don't worry. I figured as much by the date. Rest assured, while I am interested in where this is going, I don't want you to rush or overwork yourself.

Oh, kewl. A human-warg hybrid sounds awesome. I do enjoy species diversity on casts in fantasy series (it was, admittedly, one of the things that disappointed me about FF12. All these great fantasy races, yet all the party members are Humes except one).

No problem! I'm quite interested in what weapon and build Heimdall's going for. I built my Avatar as a staff-healer, myself.
Admittedly, it was not the best choice.
Wish I could play the game again, but it's really hard to find these days, and I don't have a PS3 anymore...

Hey! Sorry that I'm only just now responding. @__@ I came on the other day to post something after a long time and realized that I've got a lot of housekeeping to do.

Thanks! I really wanted to keep Heimdal's appearance consistent, so making him a hybrid seemed like a decent option. c: And lol yeah, I really didn't understand why WKC had several different species, but only humans were playable, including the avatar.   Well, Osmund and Miu were guest characters, iirc, so there's that, I guess.   Even then, I don't want to flat-out change any of the protagonists' species (although, that could be interesting. >_______> *shot*). Updating their designs is fair game, though!

Oh, the story he's from is based off of the Viking Age, so he's got a bearded axe and a round shield.   Uses fisticuffs or a li'l utility knife if necessary. Maybe uses fire magic, but I'm still trying to sort out how magic works lol.

Haha, I haven't played the game in a while, but that does sound like a rough time. How'd you make it through that Godforsaken wyvern fight in the second game? I still have PTSD from that fight.

That all sounds pretty cool, and I appreciate you sharing it all with me.

An axe and shield is a pretty rare combo! I've only ever seen it in Skyrim and FF12 (I gave one of the characters an axe-and-shield build), and both times it was optional.

Yeah, it was a real challenge. Sadly, I don't remember how exactly I pulled it off beyond a lot of resets and trying again, it's been so long. XD

I remember I gave my Avatar the maximum "Glamour" and I loved how she actually bounced in certain armors. I miss that game... Yeah, it had a lot of problems, but I enjoyed it.
