tbh it's not that great.
in typical animation you would redraw every frame and stuff but im sure you just erased parts of it to try to gain that effect. which makes it look 'off' somehow. if you redo this please draw every frame. I tried to do an animation like this too, but i found it looked unnatural.
Also i'd suggest a higher frame rate, cuz it looks kinda slow and a bit choppy at times.
the eye itself isnt that bad, it's only the frames between open and closed that bother me.
So yeah, follow your dreams and stuff, and keep practicing. You'll get it in no time.

I... can't believe what I'm seeing (;D)! This blinking eye is absolutely awesome! The smoothness of the animation, the fact that it blinks because it is an eye, and the fine detail of the eyelashes!

Hekkoto, I have to admit, that this is the best blinking eye emoticon I have seen so far! Your watchers can instantly see that it is your style, it has fine details and it is generally well made just like the animation! This is impressive! Not every emote is this well made, especially blinking(!!!) eye emotes!
