This commission was for a friend of a friend xD He requested 3 original characters with a forest background~ I spent a lot of time on the background! It was fun~ I've been trying different things when coloring~ But with this I realized I'm still having trouble with light o.o I think it looks like there's a cloud blocking the sun or something...I guess I just need to experiment more
~ Anyway, tomorrow I'll be back to school! The 5th semester already... Time has passed so quickly! o.o And I've still got other 5 semesters to go x.x~ but I think those will pass by quickly too...

The lighting looks fine actually. Based on the local weather, it looks like it's about 4pm. XD They're in the forest so it SHOULDN'T look too light.
Also I do love your background...very much<3
I say this...cuz I can't draw backgrounds at all. XDDDDDDD OTL. I rely on Photoshop + pentool! >D XD

And thank you very much! :3 hehehe well, sometimes it's good to trace references xD that helps you understand perspective and all that~ You can also pick the color palettes from photos and play around with them
