Description This was done with acrylic on the lid of a small wooden box (I'm estimating about the surface was 3x5 inches.) I didn't realize until afterward I painted it upside down (so that the latch to open the box is closest to the top of the picture.) I used my own CD as reference, but here is a link to a picture of it [link]

Thanks. My favorite by them is probably a tie between Oceanborn and Once. My boyfriend really likes Once the best, so we listen to that one together. I also really like all the tracks from Oceanborn. Tarja sounds really good on that one.

I honestly didn't really like "Once" that much Tarja's voice sounded weird and not like her. After "Wishmaster", I think Nightwish went downhill. I like a few songs from "Once", though: "Nemo", "I Wish I Had an Angel", "Ghost Love Score", "Creek Mary's Blood and "Planet Hell".

"Oceanborn" is my absolute favorite though. I love Tarja's voice and the songs are awesome.

Thanks. I really like this album a lot as well. It was the second of Nightwish's albums I bought after Once that totally sold me to Nightwish.
I started off painting the entire thing in blue because I saw that as the most prominent color in the original. It seems that worked out pretty well. I really liked the colors in the original as well so I really liked how they turned out on this.
