Thanks.

Interesting you should say that. Check out the discription in 'Colors of Love' [link] to find out what's on her mind.

Nicely done. There are a couple drawings of bernini angels very early in my gallery.

If you ever have a chance to visit the church of Santa Maria Della Vittoria in Rome, do so. That is where the ecstacy of St Theresa is. It is a wonderful little church.
Very Baroque!

Oooo, I'd love to visit there. I'll have to take a deeper look into your gallery. My bandwidth is limited, so I didn't have time when we were chatting.

I used to spend a lot of time trying to draw very accurately. I am not fast, but I developed some competency. Now I want to learn to paint. I stand in awe of people like Bernini and Michaelangelo. I can sketch their work if I spend enough time, but they sketched in stone. I remain gobsmacked.

They were truly incredable. Catch me in chat and I'll give you a link to a nice digital painting tutorial, or two. Zhuzhu is very fast and accurate and he took the time to explain his methods and make a video of his paint strokes. I downloaded the entire 11mb file, which says a lot considering I usually get a whopping 28.8 kbps on my connection speed.

Another crosshatching masterpiece. I love the colours, especially the background. The line below the chin is a little rough. I really really like this piece

Thank you, laredith. I'm glad you like the colors, I do too. I was trying to get away from the orange theme and I was pleased with the results.
