Description week 35

fairly uneventful week!
Saw the last Harry Potter, Finally. I'm a little bit sad that it's over but at least the books will always be there
I've been doing a lot of art this week, I have so much of it to do before I go back to school! I've enjoyed getting back to drawing and painting though, I always forget how much I miss it. The rest of the week has been pretty chilled, hung out with friends, saw the inbetweeners movie, went out for dinner and had some very funny girl talk with emma
This weeks photo was an idea that I used about 2 years ago when my camera was not as good and my execution poorer. I chose to re-visit this idea because it's so much fun and also because I've been playing with paint so much this week The paint went in my eyes, stained my teeth green and tasted horrible but I really enjoy the effects.

Overall

Originality

Impact

This is quite the idea! I really like the originality of this. It's very expressive, but it leaves the interpretation up to the audience.
Is she crying and over what?
The possibilities are almost endless...

Moving on, I like the colors you chose to paint your face with and the simple quiet look your face has. Like your sleeping standing up, or lost in a dream.

Some ideas for the next time you try this:
Try a black and white photo, but leave the colors on your face, as is. It would be more dynamic for the viewer to see the stark contrast of the colors on your face in comparison to the black and white background.
Another thing, is try and crop the background. I think it is rather necessary, compared to your face e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/sā€¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>

I hope you continue to find new ways to express your ideas and I love where you are going. Great work.

Thank you for the critique
I've been thinking about trying the black and white but with coloured paint idea as a traditional piece, if I get round to doing it I'll post it
