I remember laughing like crazy when I first read that it was a giant otter.
A small, cute, adorable, giant, bloodthirsty, killer otter.

No one can accuse me of not having a sense of humor. I just love that giant otters are in the fossil record.

first I thought "Rodent of Unusual Size?...no, its got a thumb - Thylacaleo! no look at the teeth...um?"
regardless of what it is, you set the scene and its inhabitants perfectly.

I mentioned this already in a note at the end of chapter 55. The Glokfûsh is based off of Enhydriodon, a type of giant, prehistoric otter that lived during the Pliocene Epoch.

thank you.
note to self: giant bear-sized beavers aren't the only danger in Pliocene waterways after all.

Wow. Fantastic lighting in this one, with the moon, the water, and even the reflections on their clothes. It looks so believable!

An epic hunt! Love the thrashing- and I am particularly fond of the water texture! The splashes are spot on... I'm always very irritated how many comics seem to have calm-like surfaces even in actions sequences. You really sell it!
