That's a very nice (and somewhat spooky) contrast between the "ghostish" cool silver tones and the more "alive" green / gold combination. And these falling leaves add to the farewell atmosphere.
I am not into wearing armor with my elf in LARP but... those in the picture, with the leaves or tendril ornaments, well, I wonder how I'd look in them.

I don't think Legolas ever knew Oropher. Oropher died and then Thranduil ascended the throne. Then years later Legolas was born...i think. I'm pretty sure...

He is looking neither at the Legolas, not at the wather.
I wanted to draw "looking-through" as if he was looking at the Legolas, but he doesn't want to look into his eyes, because he knows what'll happen with him and doesn't want to show it with his gaze.

Ах, какие эльфы невероятные! А эти доспехи *________* Даже не знаю, почему у меня такое помешательство на них (на самом деле знаю: просто сама не умею их рисовать).
Почему-то редко удается увидеть изображения Орофера (а может я просто плохо ищу), но увидеть его в Вашем исполнении, да еще и в такой трогательной семейной сцене, просто волшебно! Только в воображении рисуется еще и Трандуил за спиной Леголаса (но мечтать же не вредно ).
Какие деревья у вас красивые получились. Так удивительно совпало, что я сейчас тоже рисую фон с лесным мотивом, поэтому особенно внимательно подхожу к этому вопросу, учусь у других.
Старые деревья, поросшие мхами, дымкой подернута земля, призраки, которые все еще ищут свой путь в тумане — все это создает мистическое ощущение эльфийской древности, отголосков давно минувших эпох. Красота!
PS. *мечтательно* на фоне такого эльфийского великолепия, есть ли хоть малюсенькая надежда когда-нибудь увидеть Маэдроса или же Фингона в Вашем исполнении? ... хотя боюсь даже представить, что со мной тогда будет...
