■ Background: 21 years ago a cult dedicated to eldritch space-wisdom called out to the heavens. Unfortunately, for them, the police knew what was up and were there to break up their ceremony and arrest them all. Not long afterwards, a meteor struck the ritual site. With no cultists to welcome it’s arrival, it just sat there in the ground until some hikers discovered it and tried to take it home, resulting in it crumbling and revealing itself to be some sort of cocoon or egg, out of which Astrus was born. At that time he was about the size of a puppy and just so adorable, so the hikers kept him as a pet. When he learned to talk they first thought it was just parroting, but soon learned he had human level intelligence, so they found a school that would take him and he was enrolled on the path of a normal human life.

Being sort of animal shaped has caused him to be treated as such in the past and he’s insecure about it, due to this he came out to Indieville looking for a more diverse and accepting environment where he might be able to pursue his dreams.

■ RP method: Discord. I’m fine with any post-length and usually try to match my partner, but if you regularly go over Discord’s character limit I don’t think I’m the RPer for you. I appreciate being dynamic more than consistent; descriptions of places and actions tend to be very long and detailed, while dialogue may be much shorter. I’ll describe body language and maybe some thought processes, but I’m not going to pad dialogue out with unnecessary stuff my partner can’t actually RP off of just to make the posts longer. That being said I absolutely love RP and would love to do it!

-Bulbs on tips of tails are full of venom, usually squeezes it out so hes not as dangerous

-Due to his size/metabolism he has to drink gallons of coffee/booze to get any effect
