May 3rd/May 4th-ish is the day my Bugsnax hyperfixation took hold last year, so to celebrate that anniversary, I wanted to redraw my first drawing of Lizbert from a year ago. As proud as I was of that drawing back then, My drawing style for Lizbert/the Grumpuses has really developed quite noticeably since then, and I had considered redrawing the below image anyway.

The biggest notable differences between the two pics are hat proportions, anatomical proportions, and colors.
I colored Lizbert's fur with more warm grey pencils in last years pic, but I used cool grey pencils (Prismacolor 30% cool, 50% cool, and 70% cool) in this year's version. I colored the hat with Crayola Dark Chocolate, Crayola Brown, and Crayola light Brown pencils. The belt pouches were colored similarly; replacing Crayola Brown with Crayola Copper. The hat and belt bands were colored with Crayola Dark Brown and Crayola Beaver. In last year's drawing, I utilized Prismacolor Dark Brown, but didn't like how it looked as much. While last year I colored the scarf with Crayola Pink and Prismacolor White, this time around I took inspiration from a drawing of a humanized Lizbert that Emmajh97 made (and I have yet to properly clean up that version and send it to her) in which she used a peach colored pencil to color the scarf with in addition to pink. This year I colored the scarf with Crayola Pink, Prismacolor Beige, and Crayola White.
And oh yeah, I also have the hat rivets in the right place, too.

And hey, maybe I'll feel like redrawing this next year too, who knows?
