Wasn't sure who I was drawing to start with. I just felt like drawing a robot and decided to go with Jazz as I started to flesh out the body. Its about time I drew him though. Jazz was my ever first Transformer toy as a kid, and I used to draw him quite a lot. The sketch was pretty rushed and his design is probably not too accurate as I improvised a fair bit.Related content

Considering you mentioned it is rushed and sketchy, I like it! It has a different flare to it, in terms of your style of drawing. It feels loose in a good way like you let the hand do the talking and thinking and let it be so.
And I think its so cool you had it as your first toy, I mean its Jazz?! One of the most coolest characters ever! So I think it is fantastic Nav!

Yes that seems to with my more quick and sketchy art. I do often enjoy it more at the time, but I also tend have a lot more flaws or inconsistencies. The more I look at this, the more apparent it looks to that he's missing around his upper back and shoulders that would connect the arms and head to the body.

Good job! One thing I never knew with Jazz was whether he had eyes behind that visor or that visor WAS his eyes. In a few of the comics, you could see the bottom of his eyes poking out underneath
I had Jazz too but I never really got why he was probably the most popular of the Autobot cars. Sure, he transformed into a Porsche, sure, he was Prime's second in command, and sure, Scatman Crothers did his voice ... OK, I get why he was so popular.

Yes, as far as the comics were concerned, he had eyes under the visor, and they'd give us the odd hint or glimpse every now and again.

I always wondered if that was the case with the likes of Soundwave as well. I think I saw at least one comic where Soundwave had no visor for some reason
