As usual, you have a remarkable ability to express emotions through your facial expressions & posture. This is subtle, yet powerful. Though I'm sorry to hear you feel like shit..... I know for me sometimes being able to express those feelings through your creative instincts is a form of therapy or at least brings a little relief, so I hope this is somewhat beneficial for you also!

Yeah, as I was wiping the make-up off, brushing my hair out, and loading up the pics, I felt a WHOLE lot better. Thank you very much, I'm glad you like it. ^,^ OH! And it makes me even happier when people like what I've done... so yeah. XD

It's an interesting concept- but you may need to move about 1ft from the background so that it's not discernable, unless that's what you wanted to make. Have any more from this series?

There are just two, two worth showing. I dont exactly have the greatest of set-ups for my photos and stuff. I'd kill for better stuff. The backdrops just a black towel that I have.... kinda sad. T,T I'll see if I can do more of the same kind sometime soon. I really liked doing these.

Well, consider posting the rest of them (including + ) in the scraps section. All together they may offer suggestions as to what to change

If you hadn't told me it was a black towel I'd assume it was just a regular backdrop. If you move a foot off or so you can use two or three towels instead and no one will see them because they'll be in shadow

^.^ Gotta be crafty like that. And another problem with me, is the room to take the pictures... heres the set-up of this picture, two back towels, one tacked to the wall, the other laying on my bed, the camera is sitting atop my CD tower and set on a timer... it's sad, and yet I find it very funny. Again, my room is SMALL, so I dont get a lot of room to work with.

I'll remember what you said though, and try what I can. <3 And I didnt actually take a lot of pictures, but what I didnt post, I'll throw up in my scraps.

Tis good

Do you have a lamp or a reflector you could use to add some light to the back of your head? That rimlighting would help make your head stand out a bit more in that pose, as well as define the black shirt from the background.

Scraps look good too!

I kinda like how it meshes. But I'll take your advice. ^.^ I need to figure out how to get more soft lighting from the resources that I have too. All I really get is hard lighting, and I dont want that all the time.

Thanks. I like the scraps. I kinda wish I'd taken more though.

If it's digital, every frame is free. If it's film, there's still a cost but it's cheap.

Take what you've learned (and what you liked/didn't like) and shoot it again, or do some variations thereof.

Oh yeah- did you want to have a hair tie around your wrist too?

Not really... I did want SOMETHING around my wrist, but preferably not a hairtie. The whole shoot was a spur of the moment kinda thing anyways. Some are digital, but I also take a B&W Photography class.

BLAH! And I still forgot to bring my camera in for the roll I'm supposed to shoot... T.T I have till the end of next weeek to get them taken, developed, eavenly toned and everything... T,T

Film? What's that?

BW was my favorite class. I prefer it over colour. If someone offered me a native BW camera with native sensitivities I'd take that in a heartbeat. Plus it would be at least 2x faster for light which means even BETTER sportswork.
