Perhaps there were others; Saint Francis embraced Death’s feminine side as his sister, while rejecting its masculine side as an enemy of the soul to be feared.
On the other hand, Maybe that doesn’t count as “forgiveness”; the one had nothing TO be forgiven, she was completely natural and no threat to the soul, merely a guide to heaven.
