I was looking for a way to study lights and colors in general. If I hadn't a reference to study, I wouldn't have never considered painting that light on Anakin's left cheek that way. I find studying pictures and their characteristics quite useful. I'm also trying to make the environment/background colors interact with the portrait's subject, somehow. It's difficult to explain, haha! I think that one day I'll try to paint en plain air, it should be fun lol
