Description Faith Connors from Mirror's Edge Catalyst. This game is stunning! *^* I just spent almost one hour just looking at the environment and struggling with Nvidia screenshooting tools.
- Model provided by diegoforfun .
- Posed in Xnalara Posing Studio, rendered in Blender Cycles 2.78. Environment made by me in Blender, post-processing in Adobe Photoshop CC 2015.

Dude, this is dope. I've always loved the first game, never played the reboot but dam i think she is one hell of a character. I know this is silly, but i've always paired her with Delsin Rowe, who i love. Anyways, dope shit!

Oh yes, same for me! The reboot it's really worth it. Colours, sceneries, models and music are breathtaking.
I love Delsin Rowe too (a pity I can't play Infamous: Second Son as I don't have a PS4) and well, I guess they'd make quite the badass couple!

Yeah i do plan to get it, just because i like Faith Connors, and i do like the city and environment. She is one hell of a female protagonist, and i can definetly see them sprinting and doing parkour together (because both cole and delsin were parkourist before they obtained or activated their Conduit Genes). I feel it would be a great dynamic and he whole anti establishment ideology they both have would help build chemistry.  Shes really serious, hes more of a prankster etc. Any how, great stuff you have. What is your muse?

Oh... my.. god. That skin. The light. The..--- ALL!

This can't be the normal standard Blender cycles sss-skin shader... is it? O_O

There are some imperfections, but I'm very glad you like it!
Exactly, I never use Blender's SSS node alone, but I combine it with other shaders and other types of nodes. I always change my material settings because I like experimenting and I highly suggest looking for Kent Tramell's studies about skin shaders.

I shall definitely have a look at that. Because, to me, you are truly an inspiration and I can only hope to one day be as good as you are.
I have one question, on the side: did you ever try doing a render using the cycles hair particles / hair?

Oh my, you flatter me, thank you! ♥ I still have a lot to learn myself tho!
Yep, I made this attempt some time ago.

Oh my... that looks amazing though!!! How did you even manage that? Did you think it was a challenge, or did you feel it's relatively easy to do? o.o

Thank you! ^^ When I discovered I could create hair with particles I was so excited, so first of all I read Blender's online manual to better understand how its particle system worked. I watched some tutorials on Youtube but very few of them were useful or clear. What I needed was someone explaining how all those settings worked both in theory and in practice, because if I learn by heart then I don't actually learn how things work and eventually forget everything. I made several efforts and kept bumping into stupid obstacles (like bugs or obsolete versions that had different settings than the ones I saw on manuals or tutorials, or sometimes my PC wasn't powerful enough to render a certain number of particles) so the situation became quite frustrating and I had to have some days of pause between one experiment and another, but never gave up. So it became a challenge, yes. I was extremely curious about particles too. Also I have a notebook where I write the most important notes, so that I don't forget what I learnt and I can revise things easily. As we are self-taught, I think it is normal to struggle for something like that
If you need any kind of advice or help just ask and I'll do what I can to help :>
