Finally so one drew him with and actual rope and not a chain. Why can he kill with a normal rope you ask? He was the worlds best assassin before he became a god.

I love it. His facial expression is definitely how I view Cotillion in the books. A bit arrogant, bemused. Smug, even. And he still maintains the ominous threat of imminent death all the while.

Zwykle kiedy nie potrafię sobie jasno wyobrazić jakiejś postaci, próbuję ją narysować. Tym razem było wyjątkowo trudno i już bym wiele pozmieniał..

Not bad, not bad at all. But the feeling seems more fitting for Shadowthrone rather than Cotillion in my opinion. But the again, the patron god of assassins is bound to have his dark, seriously scary moments too.

At some point I realized that I don't know how exactly I want him to feel like. He is a god, but he still is a badass silent killing machine. A difficult combination actually.

Indeed, especially when the few descriptions we do get of him has him written has plainly featured and generally not a bad-ass vibe to him. But as you said he's still a god, and the patron god of assassins... well he's gonna have a few bad-ass moments, and I'm totally willing to assume this is one of those when someone is going to realize they pissed off the wrong guy.

It looks good on my screen; dark and shadowy, but there's enough detail to make out the planes of his face, his eyes almost glow and I can easily make out what he's wearing

I just hate the fact that I have no idea how exactly it may look on different monitor settings. There are many subtle dark grays in this one that can easily turn into a black blob, eg. on lower contrast settings.

Yeah, I see what you mean. It's so hard to choose colors that will look good on multiple different screens when your trying to use a limited color pallet like that
