Koriand'r was the Princess of Tamaran, a planet in the Vegan system. When her older sister staged a coup against her, she escaped by flying a spaceship to Earth. There, she met Dick Grayson, the first Robin, and became close friends with him. After Dick had changed to his Nightwing identity, the two formed the Titans with Beast Boy, Cyborg, and Raven. She became romantically involved with Dick over a period of time, and remained one of the heavy hitters of the team (alongside Cyborg and Raven).
