Oh OK. Well they are insectoid aliens who can get possessed by a Reaper. When this happens the Collector drone starts to glow and almost burn, and the unit does increased damage and gains increased health on the battlefield.

I never seen a Colector infected/possessed by a Reaper in the comics, but I saw a human (or was it an Asari?) infected by a Reaper and... ouch!

I think there was a human who got indoctrinated by a Reaper in the comics. The Collectors are basically drones/workers though, having been genetically and cybernetically enhanced through the last 50,000 years to suit the Reaper's needs. According to one character in the game, there is little left of the original species DNA/biology in them.

Hmmm. The only man in comics that I recall to have anything more to do with Reapers was Illusive Man, but I think he was very much against them. I know he was altered with that weird artefact that Turians had and that's why his eyes glowed.
In the comics Collectors were known to look for all things odd.

Yeah the comic I read didn't make much sense, because they made it seem like he was under Reaper control the whole time and that doesn't fit with his actions in ME2.

Illusive Man - if that's the guy we both think about - was more about finding a way to human supremacy, at least it's how I saw it, and he wasn't scared to look everywhere. I think he was just nut case.

Yes Illusive Man. Imo in the comics it seemed like the Reapers controlled him all along. But in the game Illusive mans actions led to Shepards resurrection, and Shepard led to the death of the Collectors. The Reapers aren't stupid enough to kill off their own soldiers...

In the comic he was hunting Sheppard's body, there was even a clone somewhere there.
I feel bad for the Collectors, they should have survive, the Reapers should be killed off instead of them. But that's just my weak spot for them XP

Illusive Man was after Sheppard. He wanted him/her but he couldn't find the body. His people decided to clone Sheppard but Illusive Man wanted the original, so they started to look for the body, dead or alive. at least that what was in the comics.

Oh I love fighting Collectors on the MP, they give you a run for your money haha. Everything explodes, you can't use your powers, mayhem and chaos as the big beetles float at you lol.

Oh I know. I prefer Cerberus although Reapers are terrible. Geth are alright though. Collectors are the worst for me, if only because of those damn swarms XD

Geth are by far the worst faction imo. They will stagger you to hell and sneak up on you with grenades and flames and a shotgun blast to the face, not to mention the triple rockets. I find Reapers go down easy while the Collectors are the bigger badder brothers of them. And Cerberus is basically just mooks.

Really? I suppose it helps since I play with a friend who is an infiltrator, they just steal the shields XD I tend not to have any problems so long as they don't sneak up behind me and flamethrower my rear end. For me, easiest to hardest, is Cerberus -> Geth -> Reapers -> Collectors.

Hmm, never really noticed that problem myself. My friend prefers the invisibility, much easier to get devices and pick people up XD But Platinum? Geez, I usually play on silver, gold once by god that was hard!

One of the other contributors accepted it. The group is run by many and it is for resource sharing, not for showing results. We share downloadable retextures and models. Concept arts art the only exception, because they are supposed to inspire the modders to make such a model.
