Aizen-Myoo is a god of love. He is often associated with the "wish-granting jewel" and is sometimes seen as a woman, and sometimes seen as a man. There is no doubt in my mind anymore that Aizen Sousuke was based on Aizen-myoo.

Well Im a GinGikutologist so...Xp I have a belief that either Rangiku or Gin knicked the Hougyoku and wished for the other more than Likely Rangiku wished for Gin then she was beaten by Aizen's men,they took the jewel and Gin's mission became one of vengeance whether he knows he was created just for her or not.
