People will always say you're stealing their art, just as people will say any other deviant is stealing their art. It could be out of jealousy, someone's really bored, or maybe the character looks similar to theirs. I would just apologize and not worry about it. Well, the arguing should hopefully be over soon. I made an official report against HellsUke, as someone who's stealing HinaUchi's art work.
dA will decide if they did so or not. Once they make up their minds, the fire should stop flying.

If anything, it's more or less that HinaUchi and those who are flaming will get banned more than Hellsuke with the harassment that's going on towards Hellsuke.
DA doesn't suspsend or ban anyone just because they have similar styles or characters. They'll remove art if it's a color over of an already existing image, not just because two or three things are similar.

I never disliked Rena until she brought religion into the matter and Rhianna didn't steal anything. Their designs are very different, and isn't Rena's suppose to be a wolf or something ? Rhianna is a manx cat, which by the way, are born with white and brown patches. She, Rena, does not own the animal. Rhianna even has blue and heart markings, along with jewelry. The designs have similar quirks, yes, but aren't the same at all.
