I'm a member of the Bloodrayne.co.uk site, and on it's forums, I one day saw a very cool pic by a guy called Russ. I liked the pic a lot, and I asked if I could color it. He said yes, and gave me the links to the shaded and unshaded version.Three days later (working on and off with it) I ended up with this picture.

As for your art, I'm afraid the subject 's not my cup of tea. Safe for the subject, I've got three other things. One: get yourself a scanner. Making photographs of your work isn't really doing them any good. Two. Work a bit on your atonamy. I'm no expert, but I do think I see that all their heads are (too) small for their bodies, for instance. Lastly, mark your Deviations as having 'mature content'. That'll avoid them being deleted sooner or later.

Everything peachy keen, but the fun of telling a battle is when you both get an equall chance...don't make me suddenly develop powers that alllow me to instantly destroy the known universe
(And FYI, in the Star Wars universe there are metal blades that project a special field along them, allowing to go up against lightsabers)

Now, on to the critique...more shading could be explained multiple ways. Do you mean more pronounced, more shadows, more detailed shadows,...?
As for the blood...they're recolored ink blotches
