I draw him riding the carnagesaur during a long day trip in the desert, he is wearing a armor, I wanted to make him look like a knight.

For this drawing I was inspired by many things, first Nausicaa the valley of the wind and a bit by final fantasy.
I wanted Vile to look like a desert knight like Yupa in Nausicaa, but I did not want that he wears basic clothing like the character of this movie, so to point out the fantasy side I thought that I could do him in armour so I started to draw an armour which I imagined for him.
Then for Carnagesaur I wanted it to look little bit like the ostrich-mounting of Nausicaa but also the Chocobo of final fantasy and so Vile could mount him.
Then I draw it to make it look like more of a biped dragon without wings rather than a dinosaur, again to point out the fantasy side. For the background, I wanted something of rather simple so that Vile and Carnagesaur emerge from the drawing and are emphasized.
I also wanted a background that remind of a long and difficult journey and strewed with obstacle, so what could be better than a desert or an arid background.
I also detailed on the armour a blazon representing a horizontal moon and a droplet (like the one he's got on the front of his head).
