decided to hit up a book store before going to the cafe and found a magazine called "hi fructose" which is on underground pop surrealism. it had a segment on mark ryden's latest work and i thought it might be nice to sharpen my skills in acrylic on a mix of his and my style. something about mark ryden eyes..... anyway, this is kikyo and i somewhat ryden-ized. it came out ok though it wasn't till later that i realized the face didn't come out semetrical. i started another piece in his style as well which i'll post tomorow along with more hopefully.
