Both mists # 16 & 17 are the product of using very high ASA film (asa 1600) and over development.
I like the Chinese painting effect.

My printer broke a year ago. Now... well... that's personnal history. I'm not ready to by a new one. But your right... and you may print negatives on transparent and use nice old printing methods : carbon, cyanotype...
