Spent most of the weekend playing Shantae, and wasn't really feeling like drawing anything in particular. So here's the waifu playing on a 3DS. Now you tell me if I did a better job at drawing Hanako than I did last time (I can't tell whether I've improved or if I'm just being more faithful to the original Katawa Shoujo artists).This was... difficult to do, for some reason. I think it's the fact that I'm trying to focus more on lineart, and making sharper, thinner lines to then accentuate, rather than just do random fat lines everywhere. Probably could benefit from working on smaller file sizes, too.

Yeah, Hanako does seem like the gamer-type; she spends a LOT of time alone, especially since her only friend (before Hisao, anyway) Lilly can't play video games very effectively.

I adore this character, and if it weren't for the fact that it'd probably put her in hysterics depending on what she's going through when this would happen, I'd gladly give her a hug upon our first meeting if she were real. Hisao, you lucky butt!

Again, but is it because I tried to be more faithful with the original art style, or personal growth. If you were to look at other Hanako stuff I've drawn since 2011, I'd say that those things would still look a lot more like Hanako than that tropical thing.
