Kid of a redux of this: [link] , and a well needed one at that! That old one just makes me shudder, what with his bland expression and jutted-out-jaw. It looks nothing like the Benjamin I imagine. THIS, on the other hand, is a much better depiction of my little love.This is Ben after he and Sara are deported to Auschwitz concentration camp. Not very dapper. This is also before he's forced to shave all of his adorable hair off.
But, I have sad news. He dies at the end of the story.

every time i see this he reminds me of my great grandfather, he was 16 when he was in Bergen-Belsen...i just keep hearing in german "ErlΓΆse uns! Befreie uns..." or Deliver us, free us...
