Description
One out of several wine labels made for Footstone Jive; a Californian wine company. Lots more to come related to this later.
The labels was made for 4 colour print, plus chrome for the border and certain details in the design, for extra bling
I made a mock-up bottle in 3D just for presentation. The bottle design is custom made and looks very close to this preview.
Made using Photoshop CS4, and a Wacom Intuos 3 tablet.

Your right on the money with your take on how a pin up should look. I have a huge collection of the vintage real ones (over 300) I see you have a lot of poses and clothes that really remind me of the originals. Absolutely great work.

henning, how you make this realistic reflections on the bottle?

That's just a reflection texture assigned on the 3D object in 3D Studio Max when I rendered them. Just to emulate the effect quick and nasty :-P

I never worked with 3d. is an area that I want to learn, but lack of time will not let me do it.

It's very handy. I'm actually doing a lot more 3D work than 2D painting. Just haven't had time to show too much stuff from our game yet. Over the past 7 or so years I've made thousands of in game models (all lowpoly, obviously)

My only experience with 3d was in Google Sketchup. And a few time, just 2 hours I think. I'd like to learn modelling, in Zbrush for example

These three are whites, the one with the farmgirl is rose and I guess quite sweet. Red ones coming up soon-ish
