Gil Elvgren is my new favorite artist. I want to do an Elvgren style piece for February CoH FanArt, so I started doing some copies. His paintings looked simple, but actually turned out to be very difficult. I guess he was so good he made it look easy. The three big portraits took hours each, and I had a lot of problems with the bottom left one. Almost wanted to give up but glad I didn't. Yeah, I don't play CoH but I seem to have run into a big number of players on dA. This one's a kiriban I'm owing. I've finished the line art. Not sure if I'm happy with it, but that's standard for me.
