She couldn't wait to tell her beloved. She couldn't wait to see the sight of his face when she told him he was finally going to see her eyes! She was finally going to be free of that ancient curse, thanks to modern technology. And the god who had cursed her once, well he could go himself! Medusa would finally be free.

And the hair - well she was keeping it of course. It was her ticket to urban coolness after all! As the sun set over the city of silicon and steam Medusa was on her way to the man who had written his name across her heart.
