Description Summary:
The duty of a sensei can from time to time be very challenging. Sometimes in other ways that you could've expected so the whole idea of serious training can immediately be thrown to the ground and the humiliation slowly rises and the young love between the students, which is still undiscovered by one of them, gets put to a test and they face new obstacles. Oh not to forget the somewhat secret love of their senseis gets challenged by themselves involuntarily.
But the thing is… What they should've seen coming  only happened because of a need from the two senseis blue-eyed student which turned into a practical joke the two senseis mischievously pulled on their fellow teacher and her student.
Everything happens for a reason; even if it's not quite the most decent one.

Fact about this story:
This story takes place in the time I actually have my OC Shizuka in, when she has a student Yukiko Daichi etc. Info about all this will show up later on^^ Don't you worry xD
Do you remember the Shippuden episodes where Naruto trains his Wind-element with Kakashi and Yamato? Kakashi knows the rasengan, Yamato creates this huge waterfall and Naruto runs around shirtless during training?? XD
WELL this is at the exact time this story takes place! It's not supposed to fit in the exact episode but regarding the same training but at some time where the training isn't "filmed" you know?? XD

Oh and yeah, Shizuka is kinda ifficially dating Kakashi now, not entirely but few people knew XD
And Yuki has a huge crush on Naruto but of course he doesn't notice... 'Cause Yuki doesn't want her to BUT we're not blind, now are we? XD
Well, enjoy the story!

It was just one of those days.  Naruto was training non-stop with the guidance of Kakashi and Yamato, you could almost say they did this for 24 hours straight if Naruto were able to push his senseis that far.  It really impressed me that this kid; this obnoxious little kid had turned into this splendid young man whom I actually got to admire through time. Just standing here in the shadows of the trees to keep an eye on his training was just as impressive as ever before. This training method Kakashi had thought about seriously paid off in the end, didn't it? And of course I couldn't forget Yamato who actually had a big part in this too at keeping Narutos Kyuubi under control so everything went as it should in my eyes.
The sight of that huge waterfall still shocked me even if I had been looking at for a few minutes now. Yamato must've really outdone himself just to make things right to impress both his student and not to forget his senpai. I chuckled at that choice of words. Those two definitely had had their differences through time. The sound of the waterfall seemed very soothing to my ears. Beside the sound of Naruto constantly yelling out something, and for that, I was used to it now so it was quite easy to leave out and for now I just enjoyed the sound of forceful running water. The sight of this waterfall gave me an idea for training; a rather good idea indeed. Today's training would take advantage of Yamato's beautiful waterfall. I thought a bit more about strategies, right until…

A shadow flew right past me and caused a serious gust of wind to roam everything up around me; moving the grass, making my hair fly around with the cords of my forehead protector and barely made some of the leaves in the tree next to me rustle slightly.
It was quite early and for her to be this full of energy from before we begun just seemed somewhat unbelievable but again… We were talking about my student and the fact we had to train near Naruto.  At that last thought I found myself smiling. Oh to be young and be in love. In Yuki's case at least and yes I knew she had a thing for Naruto, I wasn't blind – I knew the feeling too well.
With one arm straight down and the other hand hold on the elbow, I stepped out from the trees and in a slowly pace followed the trail of my student to where Kakashi and Yamato were. I could see Yuki just barely stopping up to greet Kakashi and Yamato and then to continue up next to Naruto on the tree waterfall. Of course she had to interfere his training as the first thing she had to do today. I sighed as I walked up next to Kakashi with my gaze still resting on Yuki and Naruto.  For a second we just stood there in silence; his eyes still in his book, holding it with one hand and the other in his pocket as I watched the young people challenging each other, keeping Yamato from releasing his jutsu.

"I'm sorry about that. Sometimes she's just… Well you know Yuki." I started in a resignedly tone of voice.  I felt my heart starting to beat slightly faster just by standing next to Kakashi and my smile widen. He spent all his time training with Naruto at the moment so he was never really home. I missed him but I didn't mind him being here, not at all and he knew that. We were all shinobis after all so there wasn't really anything we could do about it but I still missed him.
"Yeah…" Kakashi responded in the same tone. "My student there has the same problem."
I chuckled at his statement and turned my gaze towards him and found him looking at the two youngsters himself and having closed his book. Just by looking at him I felt the urge embrace him but this was the worst timing ever to give him that kind of hug. I laughed to myself at my urge but what to do? I loved him.
Well… I had to get Yukis training started so I better had to get moving before Yuki and Naruto got some weird ideas. And then I got an idea…
I glanced in the direction of the youngsters and found them preoccupied with fighting each other for fun and Yamato was staring at them with an indeed very tired face so the coast was clear to make my thought be grasping the chance of fulfilling my idea. This really was a bad idea but a kunoichi must take what she can get, I thought to myself wittingly. Yuki was aware of the relationship I had with Kakashi so it wasn't as bad as it had been before so I took this opportunity to take advantages of our student's preoccupation.
I grabbed a hold of Kakashi vest and turned him around so he had his back facing the waterfall. He was now in front of me and it looked as if that I had caught his attention which seemed to have been mine for quite a while; had he been waiting?  I could clearly see the smirk in his eye and as I pulled down his mask the smirk on his lips were as clear as day. That man…
He was a bit taller than me so I grabbed his vest and pulled him down for a kiss. I had been waiting for this way too long.
Before anybody got suspicious I broke off the kiss again very quickly in advance of it getting way to passionate, gave him a teasing look that was only met by a pouting of his that I couldn't withstand when he did so but today I had too. I rushed past him as my hand slid over his arm as he out his mask back in place.

"Keep up the good work, Yamato!" I said a bit louder than usual so he would be able to hear me as I ran past him so I could get to my student. The look on Yamato's face and the judging eyes he gave me; he perfectly knew what I just had done.
"Make sure you do the same, Shizuka!" He responded with good will intended, I could hear that in his voice.
"You bet!" was the last thing I said to him before I jumped up to Naruto and Yuki and as unfair as I was, I ended their friendly fight.

"Come ooooon Shizuka-sensei! We were just getting started!" Naruto started to protest with a pouting expression telling me that I indeed was being unfair. Well what to do? I've been like that a hundred times before so why not today as well?
"It's a sensei's job to be unfair, don't blame me." I smirked innocently and tried to see if I no saying in this and oh my, the look on their faces were priceless. "Maah don't be too hard on me you two, that's just how it is. Training first, let's go Yuki – we won't be too far away, so for that, you can't hate me."
"Are we having a training session together again?!" Yuki squealed with a way too exited look on her face.  The funniest part was that she actually shocked herself by her own reaction and immediately blushed. Naruto nervously scratched the back of his head followed by a short laughter. This moment was so cute! I couldn't do anything but laugh as I spoke:
"Well not exactly. We're heading up there~" and then I pointed above us to where the waterfall started. "We'll catch up with their team some other time just as usual, remember? Don't look so disappointed, Yuki. Naruto can take care of himself."
At that Naruto glared at me with a blushing but annoyed glare.  "Didn't you have something to do Shizuka-sensei?" Narutos eyebrows flinched as he said that last part.
"Argh Naruto… I'm joking, when will you ever learn?" I sighed at his reaction. Sometimes he really took things to seriously.
"I knew that…" he pouted and in no time he was back to his usual self. "Alright! I only get better if I train harder, same goes for you Yuko! Work hard-dattebayo!" and then that big grin of his showed up.
"Let's go Yuki…" I exhaled heavily, turned towards the waterfall and continued up to its beginning. To my surprise Yuki was right behind me and just stood there waiting impatiently for me to say something. It wasn't something new, not at all but she seemed more up for training today and for what happened a few seconds ago; I guessed that Naruto really was the one to blame for that.

"I'm not late today so can we skip the punishment-training?" Yuki asked with some frustration, yet hope in her voice.
"Huh?" I stared at her in confusion. Where did that come from all of the sudden?
I knew that I did use that kind of training but it wasn't exactly punishment. That was something she had started to call it since I kind of, every time she was late, made her aware of it and by that started training out a bit more harshly and challenging than usual, so she had to fight me on her marks right from the second she arrived.  I somewhat saw it as a kind action to make her aware that I meant what I said. Being on time is matter of life and death in some situations. And in other cases it was just a bother that she was late.
At that thought I remembered something. In time Kakashi had rubbed off on me so I were late myself from time to time and when that happened; Yuki would never let me forget those days.

"Sometimes you're just confusing me, Yuki." I said to her with judging eyes.
"What? What did I do?" Honest ignorance reflected in her eyes.
"Argh, just leave it. And yes, we'll start training now, if you can keep from confusing us further." Yuki was still clueless of what was going on but at the word 'training' she sighed but was more than ready.
"But being up here makes no sense when we just as easily could stay down there with…" Yuki pouted and put up a sulking façade.
"Well today we're going to take advantage of what Yamato has created…" I pointed at the water next to us. "You know; hence the waterfall. We've done this a thousand times before; training your water techniques, don't look so annoyed."
"That's exactly the point! We've done this a thousand times before; I don't feel like doing it again…" Yuki continued her pouting.
"And I don't feel like repeating myself again and again and for that matter: being interrupting only halfway through explaining stuff." This sulking of hers got on my nerves today but only because it was unusually more than it has been before.
"Well I now for a fact you're gonna like what I'm about to tell you."  I felt the smirk grow on my lips.
"How can you be so sure?" Yuki promptly replied with a daring look in her eyes.
My eyebrows flinched but I decided to ignore her last statement and continue my introduction for the day: "Well… Since you're in such a bad mood…" A silent murmur came from Yuki's direction, "I'll make it as short as possible. We'll work on your kekkei genkai and see if you'll be able to make a new jutsu somehow. So?" I looked at her with a mild look of anticipation, just waiting for that one moment…
"Why haven't we started yet then? Come on sensei!"
And there it came. Typical Yuki to say something like that and I exhaled noisily at the fact of her being like that; always so impatient.
   "Alright then… Listen up."

And then the training began. My student has always loved to focus the training on her kekkei genkai. If she trained it enough, it could easily become one of her strong sides but since she wasn't born with this but had it transferred into her as a baby in order for her to survive, she had always had a bit trouble with it and that was the exact reason for me to become her sensei.
Theories, facts and useful information were shared with her and different exercises were performed. For once it seemed she enjoyed training since for what I had experienced through time she didn't like it very much, once in a while. She did protest a bit every session so… In the matter of a small period of time those two things blended in together and as always we got into some kind of flow and then the only thing for us right now was the training.
The closer we actually got to evolving one of Yuki's former jutsu into a new one, the bigger look of eagerness showed on my students face, even if we were at a point where we panted slightly. Seeing her like that reminded me too much of myself at one point and it only made me that much happier, actually prouder. I really was proud to have her as my student. Maybe we were not the same age but we had a good understanding for each other at many points.
Seeing her train with such a passion only gave my duty as a sensei, my life as sensei, even more sense. This was what I was supposed to do and the only thing that felt right: Being a kunoichi.

"So what are we doing next?" Yuki asked with honest expectation.
I thought for a second. "Well let's try this and…"
Then a sudden rumble caught us off guard and our steps got unsteady. The ground was shaking? Still panting slightly, the training got hindered and all we did now was trying to keep our balance and some very loud sounds filled our ears so we couldn't even hear our own thoughts. Was it an earthquake? We didn't have such things in Konoha, did we? I had never… And then it all stopped, it all went quiet again except for some noise from the others below us.

"What the heck are you doing, sensei?!" the confused voice of my student cut through the silence.
The thing was right now that I hadn't done anything yet. I hadn't been the one behind this. I was just about to protest when the sound of wild running water replaced the silence. We looked in the opposite direction of where the others were and were shocked at what've heard, actually looked like. A huge wave, several meters tall rose from the ground and above us.
"What the…" was all I was able to say before Yuki started to squeal.  This wave was many meters wide too, both on the left and the right, so we didn't really have anywhere to escape. We didn't even make it to the point of thinking; we had no time to do anything really because from the moment we saw the wave and until it came over us was a matter of seconds.
Honestly, we were screwed. Then the wave hit us straight on, punched all the air out of my lungs and filled my mouth with water instead. I looked after Yuki and saw that the same thing had happened to her. After that we didn't see much. The wave pushed us off our feet and carried us along to the waterfall with such a great force that we were carried along and out over the edge…
