Description
Comissioned Star Wars OC.
Vice Admiral Irwen is a member of the Harch species, a renowned tactical strategist, and commands a mighty Confederate fleet. Though his similarities between him and Admiral Trench end there, though both were veterans in the Andoan Wars fighting for the Spiverelda they come from completely different backgrounds.
While Trench was one of Ando's greatest military leaders, Irwen was a member of the Deskian Rijia, a pirate group turned freedom fighters, a change that the captain takes pride in even as a Confederate leader with the crest of the Deskian Rijia prominently shown on the center of his uniform.
Despite the long brutal challenges the war offered, including the assassinations of all of his crew members, Irwen believed in freedom for any sentient being and saw the corruption of the Republic for what it is; a failing democracy exploited by the wealthy elites of the galaxy. The Separatist High Council took a personal interest in Irwen's skill as a keen strategist as well as his reputation within the Mid Rim and gave him the rank of Vice Admiral along with his own fleet.
Irwen leads the Auirica Task Form in retaking the Lambda sector which contains his own world of Secundus Ando as well as strategically important Triellus Trade Route. Though unlike his peers Irwen is incredibly compassionate always treating the droids under his command with the utmost respect, even regularly promoting B1s that showed dedicated service in the field of battle. Not only that, but he is also compassionate toward enemy troops usually trading Republic POWs under his care with the Republic for Separatist POWs.
He ironically enough is also a Jedi sympathizer, seeing them as devoted peace keepers to the galaxy before the Clone Wars, but hates the fact that they essentially became glorified attack dogs for a dying Republic.
These qualities both comfort and disturb Count Dooku, who on one hand is confident in the Harch's abilities as a talented military leader and a patriot of the Separatist cause, but on the other is fearful that the Harch's compassion would make the long term plans of his master appear invalid with the Republic's portrayal of the brutality of the CIS appearing contradictory with commanders like Irwen.
