Description Flesh Tinkerers are an alien race universally known for their technology: the machines they build combine flesh and metal, and have proved to be both cheap to produce and extremely reliable. Since their biomechanical spaceships are sold everywhere in the known universe, they have become economically strong and independent, and their whole society now revolves around their industry. Each individual is born through cloning and "mechanically improved", either destined to be a factory worker or a soldier.

This is a type of odd-road combat vehicle they use on off-world colonies. Its large teeth and circular saws are primarily here to intimidate the enemy. It doesn't have any window; instead, the pilot's brain is connected to the nervous system of the beast, allowing him to perceive his environment through the vehicle's own senses. This industrially-produced living organism serves primarily as a fast armored mean of transportation for troops.

Reminds me of the sort of horrors Kevin O'Neal would come up with.

The one from 2000 AD fame? I haven't had the occasion to read anything with art by him, but from what I've seen his graphic style is pretty sweet, so I'll take that as a compliment X)

I watched a bit of it, that looks pretty cool. I should probably play that instead of Starfinder...

Starfinder is ok,Β some of the alien races and creature designs i like but most of it doesn't feel very new orΒ innovative and i was never a huge fan of OGL D20 system. Have a look atΒ www.starfrontiers.com/Rules/ a cool old school tsr sci-fi rpg that is now 100% free online.. Yeah! i will just be using Starfinder for maps/adventures and stuff for use in future traveller games...
