Hiding behind the vastness of reality
for purposeful side-journeys of the soul
Wandering feet lead wondering minds
Beyond time and consciousness
A sensation sparks relevance
Tangled in elaborate crisscrossing journeys
Interwoven paths ensure direction
One can never be lost:
One is always going somewhere.
A simple exploration of a complicated mind
Tentative footfalls on random pathways
Searching through the soul for whatever will be found.

i like how personal this gets. when sitting in complete darkness you only have yourself.
i love the first line and the use of alliteration: The darkness grants a gracious anonymity to those who wander . wonderful way to set the mood, i find it intimate for some reason.
hmm, this kinda inspired me to write something. you gave me a couple of great ideas. i'll write something this weekend since i haven't written or submitted anything in... years! haha, it'll be dedicated to you of course, you are my temporary muse for this project.

Not bad Schizoid. I would Critique, but I feel my basis is unsound to attempt it, as all my poetry is pretty much a song. I could only find fault in the way you skip between imagery in a way that damages the flow, but I believe that is part of you poetic style...

The middle of that, conciousNESS then releVANCE struck me as a rather brittle rhyme, causing a bit of a discord in the flow.
It does not detract from the poem, it merely changes the style of it.
