Man, I simply couldn't wait till i could do this kind of motivational, the kind that glorify the raikage : one of the awesome cloud ninja and their leader. No wonder most of them are cool.

Yeah... it was way more dramatic- in a good way- in the manga. Now, it just felt short and not badass enough. The Raikage's seiyuu isn't the best, either.

sure quality is always welcomed but when having to choose between nothing and something, i'll take something
and its only thanks to 4kids that i found one piece (and that intro song is fun). now i have some mild interest in it
heck i wouldn't even read one piece without 4kids

...really now. I always felt that dubs in almost all cases tarnish the quality of the series, since the voice actors almost never do as good a job as the seiyuu do. It's as if they do not take it seriously.
And 4kids not only dubs, but BUTCHERS the series it finds.

i find the exact opposite, that voice i can understand support the anime and those that i don't understand drag it down
and for me, unless an anime is translated and pass on tv, it doesn't exist for me, AT ALL
also since i never watch the original version of an anime, i can't tell any difference since i can't compare and no, i simply don't want to.
and when i do end up watching both version, i always find the english better no matter what it is
sometimes on a certain site, they post the intros of the english version and japanese version of a anime for comparison. invariably, i find the english song better than the japanese noise
yes, this include the one piece intro vs the 4kids intro
in a way, the ONLY advantage i see in subs is that they are further ahead than dubs

Different ends of a spectrum, I suppose. I grew up in an anglo-friendly country, where 90% of television in subtitled american or english entertainment, so subtitles is the natural way to enjoy an original work to me.

and when there are, the producer know to put only when there is no action happening on screen and when there is action, they dub that part
