I hate this owl kite, we have one and all it did was crash head first into the ground. Awesome photos though.

Yes.
On it's next to last flight it got caught in a tree. I got out a big step ladder and tried to pull it down. Then it's green strips got caught and were ripped off. That was almost a year ago. About 3 months ago we repaired it with a trash bag and it was the same. So now it's hanging from the ceiling.
We have a frog kite now and it's a happy flying frog.

i was thinking about getting the frog or actually the turtle but once i saw that owl, it was over. i also thought it would look best in a photo.. nice to know the frog was a success for you, maybe you can take some photos flying with it too!
