I understand the fans, but sega wants a sonic universe with only canon characters. Remember SEGA gives the license and the relation with archie end bad from some liberty to create characters ships a sripts like Mobius 30 years later.

But I want Sally Acorn and the Freedom Fighters to be part of IDW Sonic! Remember the October 2017 IDW Sonic Town Hall Panel where they gave a "STAY TUNED" statement on the Sally Acorn/Freedom Fighters fate?
