Agree...It is just a saying...Please correct me if I wrong; I earned that Antinous was living at kzyko0s near to modern city namend as Bursa ( or Bolu )at Anatolia ( a part of modern Turkey ) I never know we had such a handsome boys in our country...lol...

He came from Claudiopolis, in Bythinia, which is in modern day Turkey. I don't know the modern name of it now. Indeed, this place birthed the most beautiful boy of all.

He loved him with all of his heart and soul -- with all of his being (and he always will, for it was Antinous' soul he loved, as well as his physical body). You need not read a book to see that, however.

I've never read Memoirs of Hadrian, I've heard that it's very well-written. It's been recommended to me on several occasions.

He is the boy friend of Emperor Hadrianus.After he drowned at river Nile ( some says that Hardrianus convinced him to suicide) a cult has been establish in the name of your Antinous. This was one of well know sample of Antinous sculptures...
