another catshot! yay!I like to follow cats to the wild, I think (and hope) that these shot's arn't like those standard pet shots flooding this site.

i love the environment you've captured your feline friend in.
this shot would be money if it wasn't for that distracting out of focus branch across kitty's face.
and yes...i prefer this type of animal shot rather than one shot in one's bedroom/living room/kitchen/etc....

I agree. Those everyday pet shots are kind of irritating. I have shot a whole series with my cat, but it was more experimenting with lighting and angles so im not 100% sure if i should submit them or not. The camera loves her and she doesnt mind it either, haha
This shot could have a little more depth, but it shows more than just a cute animal. So I guess you didnt break the mold, but you did step away from it.

very sharp photo, diff focus rocks. I like this more than the "standard pet shots" b/c you can see the predator instinct take over, like a miniature tiger
