This were made about 15 or so years ago, maybe more, as a school assignment where we were to paint or draw in some way an image of the aid the human-rights and -aid organizations does for the mentally and physically traumatized all over the world. But the thing were that we weren't allowed to use human-beings in the project, so no pictures of people. (SERIOUSLY not a problem for me as I found pictures with people in them a horror to complete)

I painted with acrylic and watercolors on paper, before gluing on painted glass and shattered mirror to create the flower-like thing.

I named it Frailty of the Mind, because the mind it in some ways the most important piece to save in humanitarian situations, because you can try to save the body all you like, but if the mind finds there are no reason to go on there are no point in forcing someone to eat or dragging them out of a mudslide.
And in this case, the mind is blue, and as easy to break as the glass and mirror.
