Holy CRAP. A-Kon was amazing. Best convention yet for me (and it was only my 4th
). Sparing the details for now, and I met on Day 1 of the con - we liked each other's shit, and we also realized we went to alotta' the same online forums. On Day 2, we realized we actually had seen each others' shit before ON said forums, which is pretty fuckin' rad. 
Day 2 was also like a Sonic sketchathon at the table - hell, we really musta' had some five/six peeps all jammed around this one table, drawin' or talkin' Sonic. (Sonic was representin' this con - hell, I met Other M readers, which was effin' awesome.) Anyhow, Lamont sketched this up during that huge Sonic jam - literally, just tossed this thing together. Not even any goddamn skeleton work, which makes me jealous.
But I HAD to color it, so after he inked I took the lines home to drop some quick colors on it. (Did it a couple days ago, actually - but my Net has been shit here, so ya' know...) Was a blast to do. Check out his stuff, it's really stylized and animated! Pencils/inks:

Great style for this, I like it, but tails looks kinda funny, he looks far to serious compared to the Satam stuff (the only thing with sally in it I can get my hands on) but he's still cool lookin.

there are a lot of similarities between you and this lamont dude's style, which is pretty unbelievable since the style is so unique (and don't worry, you're still the owner of the worlds most awesome sense of style

It's great...and it makes Sally and Mina look cool, and Tails look gangsta...and trust me when I say this, it's feat onto itself to make that dorky fox "gangsta"

I was at last year's A-Kon(I was the newbie looking big guy in blue hat and the blue shirt with a bug-eyed cow on the front) and it was fun, but I didn't go this year because it's too expensive for somebody who doesn't have a job.
