This is pretty rad. *Danny8bit commissioned me a few days ago to do some colors on the cover to his upcoming fan-comic New Super Mario Adventures. It's already been posted up, so I think it's all right to share it. Really enjoyed coloring this - love the artwork, and can't wait to see more of this comic!Here's some more info about their upcoming project: [link]

Not sure if it counts as a proper series, but Valiant did several Nintendo-licensed comic books in the late 80s/early 90s including a Super Mario comic. And there was Super Mario Adventures, which was a colored manga that ran in Nintendo Power around the time when Super Mario World came out.
