Description The Badnik car careens off, and Tails intercepts a police and GUN bulletin regarding the caper, relaying it to Sonic via headset. Sonic, being that he’s Sonic, isn’t willing to just sit around and wait, of course, and takes off toward the getaway car. After all, he’d reach them faster than they would him.

I really hated this page – from drawing to coloring it. First time I’d ever drawn Sonic in clothes more than the traditional gloves and sneaks, and I really shoulda’ done some practice sketchwork of that before I tried this page. (The shirt itself – based loosely off a character design in a Pong game a friend and I did some two years ago ( [link] ) – was originally yellow. But yellow looked bad. As did green and orange. Hence red. It at least matches the sun glasses and sneakers. )

this is amazing, i lvoe the Cg work that went into and sonic loutfit looks cool. i really like the bright sunlight around sonic in the last pannel and when he is sitting under the tree you can see the shadow of the leaves on him. excllent work ^_^

Lol. Thanks. Yeah, that was one of my major misgivings about the color of the clothes especially, 'cause everyone and their brother has read Valencia's kick-ass comic. But ah well, gots to give the guy props. He knows his stuff, and he knows what works best of all. Sonic just looks weird in anything else but blue or red. And yellow, too, I guess.

Lol. Thanks! Yeah, can't say I've got much patience when it comes to designing clothes. Just stick to things I like and recycle 'em as I need to.

Heh. Supposed to be a comic book he had been reading, but I never bothered to scan in the cover of it. (Was gonna' be an Archie Sonic Hedgehog comic. ) I=Lazy. Lol.
