Yes, I agree with you, totally 100%. I hate her. And all the "Boom" series.

Sorry, but I really hate the Boom series and her in particular.

Buck was funny and mad, not pointlessy hysteric and catastrophic as Sticks is. And he's a great warrior.
She's a damnation for everyone around, she always complains on something, always cries for an ecological trip, no matter if it is real or a fake. And we're supposed to be on Mobius, where Mobians are furries, animals: the bad and anti-ecological one is supposed to be Robotnik/Eggman, not Sonic, Knuckles or Tails.
I hate what they've done to Knuckles: it's stupid, it's Hulk-like as if he hit steroids, it's a shame to see him and more when he speaks.
On the other side, Sonic could be ten miles away and no-one would mind if he's present or not; Tails does not invent anything; they are always watching TV or listening to Sticks's blah blah blah. It's all Sticks and her annoying non-stop madness.
I don't see any fun in this. She gives me the creeps as she's a natural source of panic.

I guess you have a point. Sticks could be a little calmer and more of a charismatic yet crazy Tarzan-like survivor like Buck. Also, she needs to stop screeching all the time, I love Nika Futterman, I really do, but she can sound really irritating as a screeching badger.Β

Hirpina81 In reply to Legolord10 [2019-02-15 23:56:24 +0000 UTC]
Beg your pardon, but who is Nika Futterman? Maybe is Sticks' dubber?
I am Italian, you know: we've got different voices and in 90% of cases, they are NOT famous as actors or other, but just for their job, they're only dubbers.
For an example, the only voice I could recognise was Knuckles' one... and it was a pain, to tell you the truth: "my" hero was like he got out a terrible terrible accident! It made me think he needed a h24 nurse, not a Freedom Fighter group or whatever you call to be a Guardian. They used the same voice we knew and heared in Sonic X. Painful, this is the word.
I was there to watch a Sonic show, and here she comes this Sticks, takes over the scene and put everything under a thick cover of stress, anxiety and fake things about environment.

Nika Futterman is Sticks voice actress here in the U.S. She was also Assaj Ventress on Star wars: the clone wars, Catwoman on Batman: the brave and the bold and currently voices Luna Loud on The Loud house.Β

Ah ah I see.
To tell you the truth, in the Boom cast I could only recognize Knux's old voice, always the same. He's always a secondary voice we often find in secondary parts.
In Edward Norton's Hulk he's MrBlue, the doctor who's in touch with Bruce Banner.
In the Simpsons' series, he's one of the last voices of Sideshow Mel.
In Madagascar, he's the King's voice, and also he sings his song
In Inspector Gadget, the movie, he's Gadget (yeah!!! :-D )
And so on.
The last few years saw us point our attention on famous voices, but in Italy dubbing has always been almost a syndicate. In 1970s they came all came from theatre, radio, TV shows and they were almost poets, so they gave foreing shows (American, Japanese, French etc.) particular features that original products had not. So, they gave characters catchphrases, weird voice's pitches, new things that authors never meant to give them.
This means that they modified series, cartoons etc., that's not always bad or good.
Now, dubbers are very close to the original, as most as they can, but we lost some spirit, or flavour, if you pass me the term
I really liked Sonic's voice in Sonic X, that was the same of Shadow, and we have been knowing it thanks to "Captain Tsubasa" anime series: he was Captain Tsubasa.
The best work has been done with the first Smurfs's movie: we could recognise lots of the old cast, even if most of them retired or died... In Italy, expecially in 1980s, Smurfs were really famous and the series were rich of characters. Dubbers had been really creative with them, making all characters more interesting than they were in original.

ShadyClash In reply to realshow [2015-08-25 13:09:54 +0000 UTC]
No... As a die hard Mega Man fan, it's very disappointing. There were a lot of missed opportunities, canonical goofs, and a lot of times the characters don't really act like how they would. They do Sonic very well. But Mega Man? Eh... I don't think they're as into the series as they should be to write it.

realshow In reply to ShadyClash [2015-08-25 13:18:50 +0000 UTC]
Well, look on the bright side, with Boom dead they have one less series to write (even if I think it's possible they'll be the holders of the entire series by the end of next year) and they said they wanted to give each of the MM sub-series their own comics, so maybe they could do a proper crossover later (did WU even do anything to the status-quos aside from Boom's world being apparently destroyed?)

ShadyClash In reply to realshow [2015-08-25 13:37:35 +0000 UTC]
I guess that is pretty cool, since Mega Man is a series that really needs more popularity. It's kiiiiinda dying because Capcom can't cheat people with DLC when it comes to Mega Man games. But the only problem I have is if they can write the classic series and the X series with a lot of mess ups, it's very possible that more complicated series like Zero and Star Force will be taken the wrong way as a whole. (And I'm not even sure about Boom. I try to stay away from Boom stuff. The games were pretty horrid, the Tv show writing ruined the characters I knew, and... Beefcake Knuckles.)

Regarding Boom, it's canceled. Hence why I said Archie might get the rights. Sega will give the show once last chance with FaI, and admitted they hated what came prior. They promised the 25th anniversary game and movie will make up for it. Also, did you hear Mega Man is getting a new TV show by the makers of Ben 10?

SEGA did say they felt bad about their recent slew of bad games, and that they're focusibg on becoming a good company again. While I'm totally excited for some good Sonic games, I also hope they continue good series, which they ended in order to make a lot more Sonic. *Cough* Skies of Arcadia *Cough* And I'm totally pumped for the show. I loved Ben 10 when I was a kid, and I have a good feeling Man of Action will do him justice.

Personally I think this will benefit x cause he will get to spend time with the family he never hand I.e rock(Megaman) roll, Dr light and protoman cause unlike all the other Megamen, X doesn't have any family cause Dr cane is going to die soon, Zero can't understand what X is going threw emotionally and ghost Dr light isn't much of any help so X will get spend time with his older brothers and sister plus his father not to mention meeting all people around the multiverse like sticks, sonic etc.

Just so you know 'Sonic Boom' Wasn't made by Sega. It was made by an American game company called 'Red Button' They messed up so badly. Sega is upset with how much they screwed up Sonic.Β

i thought that a diferent company made sonic boom, and that sega said, "wow, we just cant finish a single sonic game anymore, how about u guys try it!"

Skitzen In reply to Recneps8 [2015-03-13 02:48:40 +0000 UTC]
Yeah they gave them permission to make the game. And in the end a Sega representative pretty much said "Only we should be allowed to ruin our games."
It's pretty sad. Sonic Boom /COULD/ have been something good. But they did a lousy job at the story, and game. I've seen people play it and it just looks like a (VERY) bad port of Jak and Daxter with Sonic models slapped into it.
Hopefully Sega can come back with something to repair the damage Sonic Boom has done. They made Generations amazing, if they try hard enough I'm sure we'll get something awesome! (And I'm pretty open minded about Sonic games XD)

Bleh. Sonic Generations had too much fanservice. Sonic Colors was the last truly good Sonic game. It's either been too fanservice-y, too simplistic, or too not like what it's supposed to be. I will not say Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric is the next Sonic 06, but Big Red Button was trying WAY too hard to make this game like Jak and Daxter without adding in the appeal that Jak and Daxter had...

i actually liked sonic generations a lot, the mini levels however r super annoying, also i heard sonic lost worlds was so much better than anyone had thought, also i dont know what Jak and Daxter is, but i'd like to think that these guys pulled the old mario two on this game, which means that this game was not originally suposed to be a sonic game, but added sonic in at the last minute
