Guess who's going to be debuting in Episode 22 of Heroineburgh? And she's also appearing at Free Comic Book Day in Homestead, PA at New Dimension Comics Waterfront? None other than amazing actress Jess Z, who portrays Chlorina, the titaness of toxins..the princess of poison!

Is she a metaphor for the toxicity of today's entertainment industry? Maybe. Is she the human equivalent of the classic chloroform knockout from the Wonder Woman episodes? Uh...perhaps. Is she a gender-flipped version of Chloroformaster from Empowered? Could be. Can she be cute as a button and diabolically evil at the same time? Hey, why not? All those things, and more.

But in Heroineburgh, she's Dr. Claire Morena, a disgraced scientist genius who went underground when the university administration condemned her unauthorized experiments in human cloning. In Episode 11 (played by Sarah W). the dark-energy meteor explosion bombarded her with mutating rays which radically altered her physiology, enabling her to survive and absorb any poisonous substance imaginable, reorganize its chemistry within her system, and emit deadly forms of toxic gases which can induce mind-control in her victims, or even kill them.

Becoming an entity of pure malice and resentment, Chlorina resolved to take revenge on those who wronged her by creating an army of superpowered clones to take over the city. She's always on the hunt, stealing the chemicals and funds needed to continue her diabolical experiments. In Episode 16 (played by Dana), she tangled with Vendetta and Darbouka in a laundromat after drinking a box of Tide Pods to replenish her toxic powers.

Jess Z will play Chlorina for the first time in upcoming Episode 22, to be released later this year, as she plunders the Chemistry Department at Carnegie Mellon, coming face to face with Arctica, the queen of the frost.
