Description My first character on the new Watership Down Source.
www.animationsource.org/waters…

His parents and siblings were killedin front of him by a hungry fox when he was rather young, and the memory still haunts him. He has nightmares about it almost every night.

His ear was torn off while he was trying to escape from the jaws of a hunting dog that had ahold of him.

He soon meets a befriends another rabbit, but they disappear after Efrafa is destroyed. After this, Hay-Oak is starting to think or believe he's bad luck.

naaaw, i love watership down,no matter in wich form (series, film, book, art) ,and this picture is amazing-it looks so purrrfectly like the rabbits in the show,he would totally fit in<3
also,i love how you made him with just one ear-i have a soft spot for scared animal characters,it just shows how dangerous the daily life of a wild creature is,and how much they can take. also,in this case, its telling a interesting background story <3

The movie had some sequences that I found rather disturbing as a child (who am I kidding, still do). Β There is a sequel to the book, I believe it's called "Tales from Watership Down." Β Happy reading!
