And now for something completely different!The Meta Teens! An idea for a teen super-team on the DC2 Earth 2, sort of Teen Titans meets Legion of Super-heroes meets X-men. The concept is that if Earth 2 is an Earth where all the heroes have been around 20-30 years and aging in real-time, a lot of super-powered kids would probably be running around. So there's a school for these metahuman teens that helps them learn to use there powers, but they still manage to get into adventures in their spare time. A little like a DCU version of Hogwarts I guess. I pitched out this idea to a few people and got a lukewarm reception so I don't know if it has legs to be a full-blown mini-series at DC3 or not, but it was a heckuva lot of fun to make up so I made up this promo pic anyway.
Here's the characters...
Front and center: Kid Crusader
Next row, left to right: Zoo Boy, Morpho, Live Wire, and Etrigana
Back row: Aquagirl, Earth Angel, Robot Boy, and Elastic Lass
You might be able to guess the legacy/backstory/parentage on some of these, while others are not so obvious or a little misleading.

I like these. They're cute. Though I think they'd work better in the pre-Flashpoint world. Earth 2 would probably want to base everything off of the original Earth 2 with several radical changes.

Thanks! The concept behind this Earth 2 is that it is the original DC timeline (Pre-Crisis) allowed to play out over time. Heroes have come and gone (reflecting DC's own events and characters since 1985 respectively) and generational heroes have arisen. The sons of Superman and Batman have now taken up the mantles, etc.

Oh, I see. In that case, since it's an Earth of your own creation, don't you think it would be better to assign a new number or letter to this Earth?

Back in 2005, myself and several friends started a DC fan fiction/fan art site calle DC2. It started 5 years in from Superman first becoming active and all the stories were ongoing shared a continuity - each accompanied by a cover. It went strong for many years and grew in participants and titles, not to mention it was the place a few artists who are now pros cut their teeth. At one point the site wa so big it spawned several sisters, one being a place for Multiverse stories. It mirrored the former DC Multiverse (which was still before its official return in DC proper. Our concept for Earth Two was an Earth where the original Pre-Crisis/Silver Age continuity was still going, and had been allowed to age real time much like the original concept for Earth Two with DC's Golden Age.
That's is the "why" of using the Earth 2 designation. I published a few Earth 2 stories at DC2 as recently as this time last year, but I have come to accept that this concept should carry on independently and considered as well what better way to present it from now on.
So, any suggestions?

Let's see if I can point them out. Nightwing, Animal Man, Metamorpho, Black Lightning, Etrigan, Now it gets tricky. Fire, Hawkgirl? dont know Robotman?, and Elongated Man.

Okay here are some ideas for parents for some of the people on this team, lets see how many I get right.
Aquagirl= Aqualad+Aquagirl 1
Zooboy=Animal Man (unknown mother)
Morpho=Metamorpho
Live Wire= Black Lightning+Livewire (Superman villian).
Etrigana= The Demon (Etrigan) +(Unknown mother)
Elastica= Elongated man +Sue (Elongated mans wife).

Zoo Boy is Cliff Baker. Son of Buddy Baker and, um, whatever his wife's name is.
Metamorpho is Max Mason, Metamorpho's "son".
Livewire, you nailed it!
Etrigana is Jason Blood's daugther. Not sure about the mother actually.
Earth Angel is the daughter of Linda Danvers and Zauriel.
Robot Boy is one of Will Magnus's lost creations.
E-Girl is Jimmy Olsen's daughter. The elastic power are temporary and you can see her other look here: [link]
I haven't decide on Aquagirl's parentage yet. I borrowed that design from the Batman Beyond cartoon so if following that she's Aquaman's daughter.
Kid Crusader is still a mystery.

Sorry, misunderstood so let me comment again. There's not a Meta Teens series yet on DC3 but was put forward as a proposal and discussed in the writer's forum. I plan on doing a one-shot in the near future as soon as I get some free time.

Thanks a whole lot, Fire. I was hoping to get a comment on this from you in particular because I know these type of characters are right up your alley. I got a pretty good reaction to this over at the DC2 community, so it might just turn into a fan fiction mini-series in a few months. I'll keep you posted.
