Every time I look at this drawing, it brings back all the anger and irritation it's caused me. It's reassuring that my work has paid off by so many people loving it. I can't personally thank each of you, so thank you all so very much for the favorites and all your nice comments. It keeps me motivated to do what I love. Thank you.

After months of working on this thing, it's finally in a state I'm comfortable with. Some day I might go back and add the background I've always wanted to, but for now it's staying white.
I showed the source to my friend and he thought it looked way too hard. I disagreed and drew it anyway. Being "finished", I can honestly say I was in way over my head. But now, everything else seems easier.

The hair was the biggest obstacle. It's just a mishmash of shades and you can't really tell what's what.
The black shades gradually kept getting lighter and the rest of the drawing kept smearing, so I continuously had to go back over the drawing numerous times and do what I've already done.
His eye where the paper is wrinkled drove me insane. I redrew that eye around 10 damn times and ended up almost ripping the paper...
