i am starting to like icons. but still not friends with 100x100 ones though. yay for character developmentcredits in my journal but i want to give direct credit to 's Valar Morghulis texture pack cause it's amazing.

this looks so good! how'd you do the outlines around ian? i've seen a lot of people do this but i never found out lol

okay i will go as in depth as i possible can.
+ first i add a new layer and set my brush to 100% hardness, size 1-3 (depending on the thing im outlining), and the color i want it to be
+ next i grab the pen tool and just click around the shape of the model/thing. this is called creating a path.
+ after im satisfied with the outline (make sure that you're still , right click > stroke path. a dialogue box will appear saying pencil or whatever. there is a drop down arrow near the word. click it and select brush. press enter.
+ you will see that there is an outline along the pen tool path you made (or not if the color of the brush is the same as the background obviously). then i go right click > delete path and then i'm done.
