It's mostly financially driven as the rex sells a lot more copies than any other dinosaur but I also needed a more updated rex for a personal project.

Nice artwork! The perspective makes it feel as if it's the viewpoint of someone hiding from T. rex, which gives a nice little bit of drama to an otherwise calm scene. The Red Wood-like trees seems accurate for North America at the time, although I recall hearing that grass did exist back then.

There is a lot of downy feathering down its neck, back, and shoulders. The feathers are small though and can be easily overlooked.
