Here's the other character in my Candyland Movie idea, Betty Burns.

Betty is the 3-4-year-old only child of the town's well liked event organizer, Tricia Burns, and because of this, Betty was popular with everyone in town, except for the mayor's depressive Alpha Jerk son, Oswald, who hates her because her birth caused his mother's death.

When Simon came to Cleaver, Maine after he got released from the hospital for his hand operation, Betty was the only kid to not ostracize him for his prosthetic, as she doesn't see the point and her mother raised her better than that.

She ends up going on the Candyland Adventure with Simon after the candy coaster car he was in drove through the playground she was in and during the adventure, she and Simon formed a brother sister bond. She also used her little kid wisdom to help some of the Candyland residents.

She managed to get Simon adopted by her mother after the Candyland Adventure by telling her how he protected her and kept an eye on her.

As of now, she welcomed Simon into her family as her adopted older brother and she is on better terms with Oswald.
